When will I receive my order?
We deliver to the above locations twice per week, on Tuesday & Thursday.
Payment
How do I pay?
Parents are required to process payment in the checkout stage of ordering. All meals and items must be prepaid for the order to be accepted. HCC accepts Paypal, Visa & Mastercard.
QCCS centres will be sent an invoice for your order.
What are the delivery costs?
HCC offers FREE delivery to the above pick-up locations.
Ordering
How do I place my order?
1. Simply log in to your account and select the menu you are ordering from.
2. Select your Fruit & Veg by holding down the CTRL key to select multiple items. Enter in your childcare numbers for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, as well as any allergy meals you may require.
3. Proceed to the Addon selection and enter in the numbers for any Addons you may require.
4. Proceed to the Category selection. Select any Children, Baby, Family meals, Catering, Celebration or Nutrition meals that you may require.
5. Proceed to the Order Summary and check everything you require is correct, then click Submit Order.
What if I want to change my order?
You may edit your order up until the menu closing date. For any changes that need to be made after the closing date, please phone the office at 3806 0087.
Preparation
How long do I have to eat my food, until the expiration date?
At HCC, our meals are made with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients and do not contain any additives or preservatives to prolong the shelf life. All fresh meals have a 9 day shelf life and frozen meals have a 90 day shelf life.
Do you cater for allergies?
At HCC, we take care of your allergy needs. We have meal options available that cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, lactose-free, fish-free, nut-free, egg-free, corn-free, tomato-free, sesame-free and vegetarian dietary requirements.
Do you provide a vegetarian diet?
Yes, we are proud to provide vegetarian meal options. All of our vegetarian meals contain a quality source of protein and vitamin C to increase iron absorption.
How should I store my meals?
All meals should be refrigerated below 5 degrees C, unless otherwise stated. Frozen meals should be kept in a freezer below -18 degrees C.
If the meal says 'may contain', could the allergen still be present?
‘May contain’ will be present on any nutrition labels if an ingredient within the recipe has been processed within the same facility as the allergen. While the Healthy Cooking Company takes all due care to keep allergen prone ingredients out of certain meals, there is a chance it may still be present. This may include: Nuts, Sesame, Dairy, Gluten, Shellfish & Egg.
Can the meals be frozen?
All meals except those containing fresh salad ingredients may be frozen before the expiration date. Frozen meals may be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Service
How are the meals served?
HCC supplies a combination of fresh and frozen meals for your convenience with heating instructions included on the meal labels for each product. Frozen meals may be heated in the oven or the microwave depending on your requirements, however fresh meal packaging is microwave-only. Please contact us on 3806 0087 if you have any service enquires.
